DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the inner rear view mirror assembly (automatic high beam sensor) assembly (automatic high beam sensor) cannot store the vehicle information.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR [AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SENSOR])


    1. A000XMPE01
      *1 Front view of wire harness connector: (to AFS ECU)
      *2 Front view of wire harness connector: (to Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly [Automatic High Beam Sensor])

      Disconnect the A37 AFS ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the X21 inner rear view mirror (automatic high beam sensor) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A37-11 (RH+) - X21-5 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
      A37-11 (RH+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  4. CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SENSOR)


    1. Temporarily replace the inner rear view mirror (automatic high beam sensor) with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Check for DTC Click here.

    1. Check that the main body ECU is matched to the vehicle.
