REAR COOLING UNIT(w/o Rear Air Conditioning System) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY

    A000VRTE01

    1. Install the rear cooling unit assembly and connect the drain cooler hose as shown in the illustration.

      *5 No. 1 Hybrid Battery Intake Duct - -
      *a Fitting *b Front Side
      *c Upper *d White Paint

    2. Install the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connectors and attach the clamps.

  2. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    A000UE8

    1. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the tube.

      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

    2. Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

    3. Install the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    4. Install the No. 4 cooling unit packing as shown in the illustration.


      1. Remove peeling paper A and attach the packing starting from the marking on the block joint.

      2. Pull peeling paper B through the space between the duct and block joint and install the packing.

  3. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT


    1. A000YYJ

      Attach the 6 claws to install the rear No. 4 air duct.

  4. INSTALL REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT


    1. A000U77

      Attach the 4 claws to install the rear No. 5 air duct.

  21. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  22. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
