REAR COOLING UNIT(w/ Rear Air Conditioning System) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear cooling unit assembly and connect the drain cooler hose as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connectors and attach the clamps.

  2. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    1. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the tube.

      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

    2. Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

    3. Install the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    4. Install the No. 4 cooling unit packing as shown in the illustration.


      1. Remove peeling paper A and attach the packing starting from the marking on the block joint.

      2. Pull peeling paper B through the space between the duct and block joint and install the packing.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 cooler air duct.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT

    A000ULC

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 cooler air duct.

  5. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT

    A000YYJ

    1. Attach the 6 claws to install the rear No. 4 air duct.

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT

    A000U77

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear No. 5 air duct.

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 roof side air duct LH.

    2. Install the clip.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT RH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 roof side air duct RH.

    2. Install the clip.

  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Attach the 5 clips to install the No. 1 cooler cover.

  18. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  26. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  27. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
