PTC HEATER RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE PTC HEATER RELAY (PTC HTR 1, PTC HTR 3)

      *1 PTC HTR 1 Relay
      *2 PTC HTR 3 Relay

      Remove the 2 PTC heater relays from the No. 4 relay box.

  2. INSPECT PTC HEATER RELAY (PTC HTR 1, PTC HTR 3)


    1. A000XTOE97

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 5 Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      Battery voltage is applied to terminal 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

      • If the result is not as specified, replace the PTC heater relay.

  3. INSTALL PTC HEATER RELAY
