REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Ottoman) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Illumination)

   

   *1	Component without harness connected: (Rear Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH)

   
   

   1. Check the buckle switch.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1(+) - 2(E) Fasten the seat belt (buckle switch is ON) Below 1 Ω 1(+) - 2(E) Release the seat belt (buckle switch is OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly LH.

   2. Check that the LED illuminates.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the front seat inner belt and check that the LED illuminates.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 4 LED illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly LH.

2. INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Illumination)

   

   *1	Component without harness connected: (Rear Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)

   
   

   1. Check the buckle switch.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1(+) - 2(E) Fasten the seat belt (buckle switch is ON) Below 1 Ω 1(+) - 2(E) Release the seat belt (buckle switch is OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly RH.

   2. Check that the LED illuminates.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the front seat inner belt and check that the LED illuminates.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 4 LED illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly RH.
