FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. Check the buckle switch.

      A000YEEE01
      *1 Component without harness connected:(Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly)
      *2 Connector A
      *3 Connector B
      *4 Connector C

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-1(+) - A-2(E) Fasten the seat belt (buckle switch is ON) Below 1 Ω
        A-1(+) - A-2(E) Release the seat belt (buckle switch is OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
        B-2 - C-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-4 - C-1 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for Driver Side).

    2. A000YVTE03
      *1 Component without harness connected: (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH)
      *2 Connector A

      Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the front seat inner belt and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → A-4

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → A-3

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for Driver Side).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Check the buckle switch.

      A000UM0E01
      *1 Component without harness connected:(Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly)
      *2 Connector A
      *3 Connector B
      *4 Connector C

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-1(+) - A-2(E) Fasten the seat belt (buckle switch is ON) Below 1 Ω
        A-1(+) - A-2(E) Release the seat belt (buckle switch is OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
        B-2 - C-2 Always Below 1 Ω
        B-4 - C-1 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for Front Passenger Side).

    2. A000VZJE07
      *1 Component without harness connected: (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly)
      *2 Connector A

      Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the front seat inner belt and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → A-4

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → A-3

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for Front Passenger Side).
