REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

   Click here

4. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire)

   Click here

5. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

   Click here

6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal to disable the SRS system.

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH

11. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the bolt and disconnect the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly LH.

12. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side

13. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER

    

    
    

    1. for Power Seat, 5-Passenger with Ottoman:

       Remove the nut and disconnect the anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly center.

    2. 

       for Fixed Seat Type:

       Remove the nut and disconnect the anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly center.

31. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    
    

    1. 

       Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

       Tech Tips

       Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. w/ Tension Reducer System:

       Disconnect the tension reducer connector.

    3. 

       Remove the bolt.

    4. Detach the claw and remove the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly LH.

32. REMOVE REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    
    

    1. 

       Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow in the illustration to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

       Tech Tips

       Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. w/ Tension Reducer System:

       Disconnect the tension reducer connector.

    4. 

       Remove the bolt.

    5. Detach the claw and remove the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly RH.

33. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY CENTER

    

    
    

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seat outer belt assembly center.
