U0100 Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A"

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 meter ECU communicates with the ECM via the CAN line.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
U0100

When either of following conditions is detected:


  1. Vehicle speed 5 km/h (3.1 mph) or more and IG voltage 10.5 V or more

  2. No communication with ECM continues for 3 seconds or more (No communication to ECM, skid control ECU or headlight swivel ECU assembly continues for 60 seconds or more)

    1. Check for DTC (See page [for LHD], Click here [for RHD]).

      Tech Tips

      If the CAN communication system DTC U0100 and another DTC are output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for the CAN communication system DTC U0100 first.
