Tech Tips

When installing the rear spoiler protector, heat the rear spoiler surface using a heat light.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SPOILER PROTECTOR

    A01XGOH

    1. When using a new rear spoiler:


      1. Clean the rear spoiler surface.

      2. Using a heat light, heat the rear spoiler surface.

    2. When reusing the rear spoiler:


      1. Using a heat light, heat the rear spoiler surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the rear spoiler.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    3. Install a new rear No. 1 spoiler protector.


      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new rear No. 1 spoiler protector.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Install the rear No. 1 spoiler protector.

  2. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SIDE PROTECTOR LH

    A01XG59

    1. When using a new rear spoiler:


      1. Clean the rear spoiler surface.

      2. Using a heat light, heat the rear spoiler surface.

    2. When reusing the rear spoiler:


      1. Using a heat light, heat the rear spoiler surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the rear spoiler.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    3. Install a new rear spoiler side protector.


      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new rear spoiler side protector.

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
