REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    *a Double-sided Tape

    1. Detach the 3 double-sided tapes and remove the rear bumper energy absorber from the rear bumper cover.

  2. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Detach the 5 clamps and remove the No. 5 floor wire.

  3. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Detach the 5 clamps and remove the No. 5 floor wire.

  4. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the No. 5 floor wire.

  5. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.

  6. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)

  7. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

  8. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  11. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Use the same procedure described for the rear corner ultrasonic sensor.

  12. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the rear corner ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    *1 Grommet

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Remove the grommet.

    3. Detach the guide and remove the rear bumper protector sub-assembly LH.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

  17. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Reflex Reflector Assembly)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and guide and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  18. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Reflex Reflector Assembly)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD (for 5 Door)

    1. Remove the 2 rear bumper pads.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD (for 3 Door)

    1. Remove the rear bumper pad.
