DESCRIPTION

The combination meter assembly receives the hazard warning signal switch assembly ON signal and controls the operation of the hazard warning lights.

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

  2. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the integration control and panel assembly (hazard warning signal switch).

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G23 hazard warning signal switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G304 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G23-8 (HAZ) - G304-7 (HZSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      G23-4 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G23-8 (HAZ) or G304-7 (HZSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
