PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    Component without harness connected

    (Headlight Cleaner Switch Assembly)

    1. Inspect the headlight cleaner switch assembly.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        2 - 5 Headlight cleaner switch on Below 1 Ω
        Headlight cleaner switch off 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner switch assembly.

    2. Inspect the Illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination condition.

        OK
        Battery Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 6 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner switch assembly.
