INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Rain Sensor)
for LHD Windshield Wiper Switch and RHD Windshield Wiper Switch RH Side Type:

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.
Check the intermittent operation.
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal G42-3 (+1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal G43-4 (EW).
Turn the wiper switch to the INT position.
Operate the intermittent wiper and check the voltage between terminals G42-3 (+1) and G43-4 (EW).

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.
Check the front washer operation.
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal G43-7 (WF) and a negative (-) lead to terminal G43-4 (EW).
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the washer switch on and off, and check the voltage between terminals G43-7 (WF) and G43-4 (EW).

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.
Check the intermittent operation.
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal G42-2 (+1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal G43-7 (EW).
Turn the wiper switch to the INT position.
Operate the intermittent wiper and check the voltage between terminals G42-2 (+1) and G43-7 (EW).

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.
Check the front washer operation.
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal G43-4 (WF) and a negative (-) lead to terminal G43-7 (EW).
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the washer switch on and off, and check the voltage between terminals G43-4 (WF) and G43-7 (EW).
