OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/o Reverse Shift-linked Mirror:


      1. Attach the claw to install the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      2. Install the 3 nuts.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      3. Connect the connector.

    2. w/ Reverse Shift-linked Mirror:


      1. w/o Multi-terrain Monitor:


        1. Attach the claw to install the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

        2. Install the 3 nuts.

        3. Connect the connector.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    3. w/ Reverse Shift-linked Mirror:


      1. w/ Multi-terrain Monitor:


        1. Attach the claw to install the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

        2. Install the 3 nuts.

        3. Connect the 2 connectors.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH

  4. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP COVER LH

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH
