FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for 5 Door) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for Manual Seat:

      Remove the front seat assembly.

      Remove the front seat assembly.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for Automatic Transmission:

      Remove the console box assembly.

    2. for Manual Transmission:

    3. w/ Refrigerated Cool Box:

      Remove the console box assembly.

  30. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 3 claws.

    2. Remove the fuel lid lock control cable assembly and fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly.

  31. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:

        Detach the 6 clamps and fold back the front floor carpet assembly from the floor carpet hooks.

    2. for RHD:

        Detach the 12 clamps and fold back the front floor carpet assembly from the floor carpet hooks.

  32. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly counterclockwise and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly from the retainer.

    2. B001EU0

      Turn the lock retainer counterclockwise and remove the lock retainer.

    3. for LHD:


      1. Using a clip remover, detach the clamp labeled <A>.

      2. Detach the 13 clamps and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.

    4. for RHD:


      1. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clamps labeled <A>.

      2. Detach the 14 clamps and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.
