FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for 3 Door) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for Manual Seat:

      Remove the front seat assembly Click here.

    2. for Walk in Seat:

      Remove the front seat assembly Click here.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for Automatic Transmission:

      Remove the console box assembly Click here.

    2. for Manual Transmission:

      Remove the console box assembly Click here.

    3. w/ Refrigerated Cool Box:

      Remove the console box assembly Click here.

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 1 Seat)


    1. for LH Side:

      Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly Click here.

    2. for RH Side:

      Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly Click here.

  5. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH

  6. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH

  7. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

  8. REMOVE MAT SET PLATE COVER

  9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE

  10. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM COVER HOLE LH

  11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/o Tonneau Cover)

  14. REMOVE FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/ Tonneau Cover)

    Click here

  15. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM POCKET TRAY

  16. REMOVE OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER

  17. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  18. REMOVE REAR QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  19. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  20. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

      for LHD:


      1. Detach the 4 clamps and fold back the front floor carpet from the floor carpet hooks.

    2. B001CZB

      for RHD:


      1. Detach the 8 clamps and fold back the front floor carpet from the floor carpet hooks.

  21. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the cable counterclockwise and remove the cable from the retainer.

    2. B001EU0

      Turn the lock retainer counterclockwise and remove the lock retainer.

    3. for LHD:


      1. Using a clip remover, detach the clamp labeled <A>.

      2. Detach the 11 clamps and remove the fuel lid lock control cable.

    4. for RHD:


      1. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clamps labeled <A>.

      2. Detach the 11 clamps and remove the fuel lid lock control cable.
