CONDENSER FAN REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM


    1. for HFC-134a (R134a):

  3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

  4. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:

  5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp, remove the 2 bolts and the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

      Tech Tips

      It is not necessary to completely remove the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly. Move the tube so that the shroud blower assembly can be removed.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  6. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)

  7. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the each clamp.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and hood lock support brace sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE SHROUD BLOWER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and shroud blower assembly as shown in the illustration.
