PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR BRACKET

      Detach the clamp.

    2. Remove the screw and cooler bracket.

  2. REMOVE MAGNETIC CLUTCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the cooler compressor in a vise.

      Using SST, hold the magnet clutch hub.

    3. Remove the bolt, magnet clutch hub and magnet clutch washers.

      Tech Tips

      There is no set number of magnet clutch washer since they are used for adjusting.

    4. A01XEX6

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch rotor.

      Note

      Take care not to damage the seal cover of the bearing when removing the snap ring.

    5. Disconnect the connector.

    6. A01XHB4

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch stator.
