AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Viscous Heater with Magnet Clutch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the idle up switch assembly is pushed, the air conditioning amplifier assembly turns on the viscous heater relay and operates the viscous heater. If the viscous heater does not operate when the idle up switch assembly is pushed, there may be a problem in the circuit shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (VISCOUS HEATER)


    1. Select the Active Test, use the GTS to generate a control command, and then check that the viscous heater with magnet clutch assembly operates Click here.

      2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Remove the viscous heater relay (VISCUS) from engine room No. 1 relay block, junction block.

    1. Remove the VISCUS relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block, junction block.

    2. Disconnect the C94 viscous heater with magnet clutch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    1. Remove the VISCUS relay from the engine room No. 1 relay block, junction block.

    2. Disconnect the G25 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Disconnect the r4 viscous heater with magnet clutch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
