AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Air Conditioning Control Panel Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit consists of the integration control and panel assembly and air conditioning amplifier assembly. When the integration control and panel assembly is operated, signals are transmitted to the air conditioning amplifier assembly through the LIN communication system.

If the LIN communication system malfunctions, the air conditioning amplifier assembly does not operate when the integration control and panel assembly is operated.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER)


    1. Disconnect the G25 amplifier connector.

    2. Disconnect the G23 panel connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G23-3 (LIN1) - G25-37 (LIN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      G23-3 (LIN1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the G23 panel connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G23-1 (+B) - G23-4 (GND) Always 11 to 14 V
      G23-5 (IG) - G23-4 (GND) Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      G23-5 (IG) - G23-4 (GND) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      G23-6 (ACC) - G23-4 (GND) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G23-4 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  3. REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the integration control and panel assembly with a new or normally functioning one Click here.
