SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK COMBINATION METER (for 5L-E)

    1. Disconnect the G6 meter connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G6-21 (E2) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G6-26 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Combination meter B line Always 11 to 14 V
      G6-28 (IG+) - Body ground R - Body ground Combination meter IG+ line Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    3. Reconnect the G6 meter connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G7-15 (P/SB) - Body ground L - Body ground Front passenger seat belt signal Front passenger seat occupied, seat belt fastened Below 1 V
      Front passenger seat occupied, seat belt unfastened 11 to 14 V

  2. CHECK COMBINATION METER (except 5L-E)

    1. Disconnect the G304 meter connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G304-20 (E2) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G304-21 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Combination meter B line Always 11 to 14 V
      G304-22 (IG+) - Body ground R - Body ground Combination meter IG+ line Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    3. Reconnect the G304 meter connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
