  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH


    1. Partially remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip so that the lower center pillar garnish and center pillar garnish can be removed Click here.

  4. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

  5. REMOVE MAT SET PLATE COVER

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE

  7. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM COVER HOLE LH

  8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/ o Tonneau Cover)

  11. REMOVE FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/ Tonneau Cover)

  12. REMOVE OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER

  13. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the bolt and floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

    2. B001ILH

      Remove the bolt and floor anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.

    3. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

    4. Detach the 9 claws and 12 clips and remove the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

  14. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the nut and shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

      Disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt assembly LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.
