PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH LH

      Component without harness connected

      (Refreshing Seat Switch LH)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      9 (BLLH) - 11 (SW-) Switch off 1.5 to 2.8 kΩ
      Switch on (HI) 29 to 54 Ω

      Tech Tips

      As the dial is being turned, the resistance changes gradually.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch LH.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch LH illuminates.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch LH.

    3. Apply battery voltage to the switch connector, and check that the refreshing seat switch LH indicator illuminates.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Switch Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 8 (IG)

      Battery negative (-) → 10 (E)

      		 Switch on Indicator illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the refreshing seat switch LH.

  2. INSPECT REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH RH
