REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY(for 60/40 Split Tumble Seat Type RH Side) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the cable to the seat cushion frame.

    2. Attach the 3 cable clamps and connect the cable.

    3. Install 2 new cable ties.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the seatback frame with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER LH


    1. Attach the 2 guides to install the cover.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER RH


    1. Attach the 2 guides to install the cover.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER RECLINING COVER LH


    1. Attach the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the cover.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER RECLINING COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the cover.

  7. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT LOCK CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the cable to the seatback frame.

    2. Attach the 2 cable clamps and connect the cable.

  8. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

    *1 Hog Ring Pliers
    *2 Fastening Tape

    1. Install the seatback cover with 2 new hog rings and attach the fastening tape.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  9. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Attach the 2 hooks to install the seatback cover with pad.

  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 supports.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Connect the cable in the order shown in the illustration to install the lever.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER

    1. Attach the guide and claw to install the cover.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 SEATBACK PAD RH


    1. Install the seatback pad.

    2. A01XMAY

      Close the 2 fasteners, and then close the seatback cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

    4. Attach the 3 fastening tapes and close the cover.

  14. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH


    1. Install the protector with new tack pins.

  17. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Temporarily install the under cover to the seat cushion frame.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION SUPPORT SPRING


    1. Install the spring to the seat cushion frame.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both springs.

  23. INSTALL FOLD SEAT LEG LOCK CUSHION

    1. Install the cushion to the protector.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both cushions.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Install the protector to the cushion frame.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both protectors.

  25. INSTALL REAR SEAT STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the seat stay ball-joint to the seat hinge.

      Tech Tips

      It is only necessary to perform this step when replacing the seat stay and seat hinge. After the seat stay is connected to the seat hinge, it cannot be disconnected.

  26. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the spring of the seat stay ball-joint.

    2. Temporarily install the seat hinge and seat stay as a unit.

    3. Raise the under cover.

      Connect the seat stay to the seat cushion frame.

      Connect the reclining release handle to the under cover.

    6. Install the 4 bolts.

    7. Attach the 6 claws to install the under cover.

    8. Install the pin to the hinge.

    9. Install a new E-ring.

  27. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the hinge.

    2. Install the pin to the hinge.

    3. Install a new E-ring.

  28. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the pawl guide.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both pawl guides.

  29. INSTALL SEAT TRACK OPEN LEVER PIN SUB-ASSEMBLY

    2. Install the stopper.

  30. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH
