  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH


    1. Clean the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH surface.

      Install a new front seat cushion edge protector RH as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. A01XE00

      Install the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.

  3. INSTALL OUTER VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER


    1. Attach the claw to install the outer vertical adjuster bracket cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER LH


    1. Install the reclining adjuster outside cover LH with the screw.

  5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. Attach the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH


    1. Attach the hook and claw to install the front seat inner cushion shield RH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  9. INSTALL CENTER SEAT HINGE COVER


    1. Attach the guide to install the center seat hinge cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK PROTECTOR


    1. Remove any double-sided tape remaining on the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH.

      Apply double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the front seatback protector.

  11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD


    1. Install the separate type front seatback pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH.

  12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    2. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. Attach the fastening tape and hook.

      Using hog ring pliers, attach the 2 straps of the separate type front seatback cover to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH with new hog rings.

      Using hog ring pliers, attach the separate type front seatback cover with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers
      *2 Tack pin

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    2. Using a tacker, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with a new tack pin as shown in the illustration.

      Attach the hook.

    4. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note

      When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  14. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER


    1. Attach the claw to install the connector holder.

  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Set the front seat cushion cover with pad in place.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps to install the connector holder.

    3. Attach the hooks to install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

    4. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    5. Install the clip.

      Return the 2 cushion edge tabs to their original positions.

      Note

      Be careful not to break the cushion edge tabs.

  16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH to the front seatback inside pad RH.

    2. Install the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH with the front seatback inside pad RH.

    3. Attach the hook to close the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH.

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ARMREST HOLE BOARD COVER


    1. Install the front seat armrest hole board cover to the seat armrest assembly RH.

  18. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the seat armrest assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  19. INSTALL INNER SEAT BRACKET ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the inner seat bracket assembly RH with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    2. Lift up the seat armrest assembly RH and place it in the normal seating position.

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH


    1. Attach the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 hooks to install the front seat hinge cover RH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE KNOB


    1. A01XKPO

      Twist the front seat hinge knob in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.

  23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Attach the guide and clip.

    2. Attach the claw and hook to install the front seat cushion shield RH.

    3. Install the screw.

    4. Attach the 2 rubber bands.

  24. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH


    1. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

  26. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP RH


    1. Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
