SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD)

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for LHD)

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ORNAMENT (for LHD)

  9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE GARNISH (for RHD)

  10. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      Remove the bolt and remove the seat belt control ECU.
