DESCRIPTION

Based on pre-crash control, the driving support ECU warns the driver to be careful by sending a sounding signal to the skid control ECU to sound the skid control buzzer.

When the skid control ECU detects a malfunction in the skid control buzzer circuit, a malfunction signal is sent to the driving support ECU and a DTC is stored. Although the skid control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, the relevant ABS DTCs are not stored.

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the skid control buzzer sounds Click here.

  2. REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID (SKID CONTROL ECU)


    1. for LHD:

      Replace the master cylinder solenoid Click here.

    2. for RHD:

      Replace the master cylinder solenoid Click here.
