  1. INSPECT TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Telltale Light Assembly)

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the airbag off indicator LED illumination.

      OK
      Battery Connection Specified Condition

      Positive (+) → 5 (LAPB)

      Negative (-) → 1 (OFF)

      		 Airbag off indicator LED illuminates

      Positive (+) → 5 (LAPB)

      Positive (+) → 4 (ILL+)

      Negative (-) → 1 (OFF)

      Negative (-) → 2 (GND)

      		 Airbag off indicator LED illuminates in dimmed state
      If the result is not as specified, replace the telltale light assembly.
