DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when LIN communication between the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stops for 10 seconds or more.

Note


  • When using the intelligent tester with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

    Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.

  • Inspect the fuses and bulbs for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

When communication between the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stops, DTC B2325 is also stored.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LH)


    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the driver side junction block assembly Click here.

    2. Disconnect the M4 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-16 (LIN2) - M4-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
      A-16 (LIN2) or M4-9 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the M4 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M4-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M4-2 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

  5. REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Temporarily replace the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

      1. Disconnect the 2I*1 or 2D*2 driver side junction block assembly connector.


        • *1: for LHD

          *2: for RHD

      2. Disconnect the M4 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        for LHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2I-24 - M4-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
        2I-24 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
        for RHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2D-11 - L4-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
        2D-11 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      1. Disconnect the 2Q*1 or 2N*2 driver side junction block assembly connector.


        • *1: for LHD

      2. Disconnect the M4 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
