  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH

    1. for 5 Door:

      Remove the door scuff plate assembly LH Click here.

    2. for 3 Door:

      Remove the door scuff plate assembly LH Click here.

  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


    1. for 5 Door:

      Remove the cowl side trim board LH Click here.

    2. for 3 Door:

      Remove the cowl side trim board LH Click here.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

  7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH

    1. Disconnect all the connectors.

    2. Detach the clamp.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and ECU integration box RH.

  10. REMOVE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the power management control ECU.
