GENERATOR(for 100 A Type) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE BATTERY HOLD DOWN CLAMP

      Loosen the 2 nuts.

    2. Remove the 2 battery clamp bolts and battery hold down clamp.

  4. REMOVE BATTERY

  5. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INTERCOOLER AIR HOSE

  8. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  9. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector from the generator assembly.

    2. Remove the terminal cap.

    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.

    4. Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness from the generator assembly.

    5. Detach the clamp and disconnect the wire harness from the generator bracket.

      Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.

      Remove the bolt and generator bracket from the generator assembly.
