GENERATOR(for 130 A Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the generator bracket to the generator assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

   3. Attach the clamp and connect the wire harness to the generator bracket.

   4. Connect the wire harness to the generator assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   5. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   6. Install the terminal cap.

   7. Connect the connector to the generator assembly.

2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

3. INSTALL NO. 2 INTERCOOLER AIR HOSE

4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY

6. INSTALL BATTERY

7. INSTALL BATTERY HOLD DOWN CLAMP

   
   

   1. Install the battery hold down clamp with the 2 nuts and 2 battery clamp bolts.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
