  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  2. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to remove the front corner ultrasonic sensor on the other side.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. B001ICQ

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the front corner ultrasonic sensor.

      Note

      Before removing the ultrasonic sensor, make sure to mark the ultra sonicsensor and front bumper cover so that each ultrasonic sensor can be returned to its original position.

  3. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to remove the front corner ultrasonic sensor retainer on the other side.


    1. Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover.

      Standard
      Item Temperature
      Front Bumper Cover 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

      CAUTION:

      • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

      • Touching the heat light may result in burns.

      • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

      Note

      Do not heat the front bumper cover excessively.

      Remove the front corner ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  4. REMOVE FRONT CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the front corner ultrasonic sensor.
