DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) via CAN communication.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A45 A fail flag is transmitted from the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid).

  • Vehicle stability control system

  • Blind spot monitor sensor LH

  • Blind spot monitor sensor RH

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch assembly (multi-function switch) is on.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs Click here.

      OK
      Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.

    NG

    GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.
