DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives steering angle signals from the spiral cable sub-assembly via CAN communication.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor main switch assembly (multi-function switch) is on.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

    OK

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK Click here

  2. REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the spiral cable sub-assembly with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

  3. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
