DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU via CAN communication.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A45 A fail flag is transmitted from the skid control ECU.

  • Vehicle stability control system

  • Blind spot monitor sensor LH

  • Blind spot monitor sensor RH

Note

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor system is on.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs.


      OK
      Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.

    NG

    GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM for Hydraulic Brake Booster: Click here for Vacuum Brake Booster: Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.
