DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the parking assist ECU judges as a result of its self check that a synchronization problem is occurring in the image signal sent from the driver side television camera assembly to the parking assist ECU.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - DRIVER SIDE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the I7 parking assist ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the K2*1 or J3*2 driver side outer rear view mirror assembly connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      I7-30 (DCV+) - K2-6 (DCV+) Always Below 1 Ω

      I7-31 (DCV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      I7-28 (DCB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Measure the waveform of the driver side television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.

      Tech Tips


      • A waterproof connector is used for the side television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the navigation receiver assembly*1 or radio and display receiver assembly*2 with the connector connected.


        • *1: for Navigation Receiver Type

        • *2: for Radio and Display Type

      • The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the side television camera assembly.
