DESCRIPTION

The warning indicator lights are installed in the clearance warning indicator assembly.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING INDICATOR - BATTERY)

      Text in Illustration

      *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Clearance Warning Indicator Assembly)

      Disconnect the G160 clearance warning indicator assembly connector.

   2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition G160-10 (BD) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

   REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

   OK

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - CLEARANCE WARNING INDICATOR)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the I8 clearance warning ECU connector.

   2. Disconnect the G160 clearance warning indicator light assembly connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I8-7 (L1) - G160-5 (RR) Always Below 1 Ω I8-8 (L2) - G160-13 (RL) Always Below 1 Ω I8-23 (L3) - G160-14 (BK) Always Below 1 Ω I8-10 (L10) - G160-6 (OP) Always Below 1 Ω I8-7 (L1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher I8-8 (L2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher I8-23 (L3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher I8-10 (L10) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
