TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note


    • After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH

  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ORNAMENT

  7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE DOUBLE LOCK DOOR CONTROL RELAY ASSEMBLY (w/ Double Door Lock)

  9. REMOVE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

      Remove the bolt, nut and telematics transceiver from the vehicle.

    2. Disconnect the connectors.

  10. REMOVE TELEPHONE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connectors.

    2. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the telephone antenna cord sub-assembly.
