DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the telephone antenna assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 20 seconds.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      No DTCs are output.

  2. INSPECT TELEPHONE ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the telephone antenna assembly.

    1. Disconnect the antenna connector from the telephone antenna assembly.

    2. Disconnect the antenna connector from the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER [DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE (DCM)])


    1. Disconnect the H81 No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the instrument panel wire.

    2. Disconnect the H83 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
