DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a communication error occurs between the navigation receiver assembly and combination meter assembly.

B1324 After the navigation receiver assembly receives a registration information signal, which is sent by the combination meter assembly when the engine switch is on (ACC) 1 or more times, the navigation receiver assembly does not receive the signal for 30 seconds or more.

Tech Tips

When replacing the navigation receiver assembly, it is necessary to perform the vehicle contract setting for Connected Services (w/ Connected Services Function).

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the H55 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G304 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H55-3 (CNH1) - G304-38 (MSCH) Always Below 1 Ω
      H55-4 (CNL1) - G304-37 (MSCL) Always Below 1 Ω
      H55-3 (CNH1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H55-4 (CNL1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H55-3 (CNH1) - H55-4 (CNL1) Always 10 kΩ or higher

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H55-3 (CNH1) - Body ground Always Below 1 V
      H55-4 (CNL1) - Body ground Always Below 1 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  2. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the combination meter assembly Click here.

    2. B001G0YE09

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      38 (MSCH) - 37 (MSCL) Always 108 to 132 Ω

  3. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the navigation receiver assembly Click here.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      3 (CNH1) - 4 (CNL1) Always 108 to 132 Ω

  4. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new one Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

  5. CHECK METER / GAUGE SYSTEM


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.

    2. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and the audio system can be operated normally.

      OK
      Audio system returns to normal.

    OK
