NAVIGATION SYSTEM(for Radio and Display Type) Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The radio and display receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly*1 or back-up light switch assembly*2.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (OPERATION CHECK)


    1. B001HB8

      Enter the "Vehicle Signal Check Mode" screen. [Refer to check Vehicle Signal in Operation Check Click here].

    2. Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever position.

      Tech Tips

      This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual shift lever position.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the H51 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the C159 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    1. Disconnect the H51 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the C41*1 or C160*2 back-up light switch assembly connector.


      • *1: for 1GR-FE or 2TR-FE

      • *2: for 1KD-FTV or 1GD-FTV

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for 1GR-FE or 2TR-FE

      H51-2 (REV) - C41-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      H51-2 (REV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
