STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 AMPLIFIER BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 2 amplifier bracket with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 AMPLIFIER BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 1 amplifier bracket with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 AMPLIFIER COVER

    *A w/ Climate Control Seat System *B for JBL Made, w/o Climate Control Seat System

    1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. Install the No. 2 amplifier cover with the bolt and screw.

        Torque:
        for Bolt
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
      2. Attach the clamp.

    2. for JBL Made, w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. Attach the 3 clips to install the No. 2 amplifier cover.

  4. INSTALL STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

    *A for Pioneer Made *B for JBL Made
    *C w/ Climate Control Seat System *D w/o Climate Control Seat System

    1. Attach the guide to install the stereo component amplifier assembly.

    2. Install the bolt and 2 screws.

      Torque:
      w/ Climate Control Seat System Bolt
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
      w/o Climate Control Seat System Bolt
      4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }
    3. Connect each connector.

  5. INSTALL AMPLIFIER COVER


    1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. Install the amplifier cover with the 3 clips.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. Install the amplifier cover with the 3 screws and clip.

        Torque:
        3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }
      2. Attach the clamp.

    3. Return the floor carpet to its original position.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
