REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Television Display Assembly

DESCRIPTION

The television display assembly sends the sound signal to the radio and display receiver assembly through this circuit.

The sound signal that has been sent sent to the speakers.

If there is an open or short in the circuit, sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the radio and display receiver assembly or speakers.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the H52 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the W14 television display assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H52-2 (CDR+) - W14-9 (R1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H52-3 (CDR-) - W14-10 (R1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H52-4 (CDL+) - W14-7 (L1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H52-5 (CDL-) - W14-8 (L1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      W14-11 (SLD1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H52-2 (CDR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H52-3 (CDR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H52-4 (CDL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H52-5 (CDL-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
