STEERING WHEEL INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft assembly.

   2. Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.

      Torque:

      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

2. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL HEATER CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/ Steering Heater)

3. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH (w/ Cruise Control System)

4. INSTALL NO. 1 STEERING WHEEL ORNAMENT

   
   

   1. Attach the claw and 3 guide pins to install the ornament.

   2. Install the 2 screws.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL ORNAMENT

   
   

   1. Attach the claw and 3 guide pins to install the ornament.

   2. Install the 2 screws.

6. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Steering Pad Switch)

   
   

   1. Attach the 2 claws and 6 guide pins to install the steering pad switch assembly.

   2. Install the 4 screws.

   3. Connect the connector.

7. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH RH (w/ Steering Pad Switch)

   
   

   1. Attach the claw and 3guide pins to install the pad switch RH.

   2. Install the 2 screws.

   3. Connect the connector.

8. INSTALL STEERING PAD

9. INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER

10. INSTALL NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER

    Click here

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

12. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
