DESCRIPTION

The power steering ECU receives steering angle signals from the steering angle sensor via CAN communication. The power steering ECU provides appropriate assisting force in accordance with the steering angle signal.

C15F1 An abnormal steering angle signal is received.

  1. CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

      Tech Tips

      DTC U0126 indicates a CAN communication malfunction in the power steering system.

    1. Using the GTS, check for DTCs related to the steering angle sensor and confirm that there are no problems in the brake control system (See page for Hydraulic Brake Booster, Click here for Vacuum Brake Booster).
