  1. INSPECT DOWNHILL ASSIST CONTROL SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Downhill Assist Control Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (E) - 5 (+B2) ON Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the downhill assist control switch.

      Component without harness connected

      (Downhill Assist Control Switch)

      Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the downhill assist control switch, and check the illumination condition of the downhill assist control switch.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 6 (+ILL)

      Battery negative (-) → 1 (-ILL)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the downhill assist control switch.
