VSC OFF SWITCH(w/o Combination Switch) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. B001EY5C05
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (No. 2 Combination Switch Assembly (VSC OFF switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      2 (OFF) - 24 (E) ON Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 combination switch assembly (VSC OFF switch).

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (No. 2 Combination Switch Assembly (VSC OFF switch))

      Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the No. 2 combination switch assembly (VSC OFF switch), and check the illumination condition of the No. 2 combination switch assembly (VSC OFF switch).

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 13 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 12 (ILL-)

      Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 combination switch assembly (VSC OFF switch).

  2. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (VSC OFF switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      5 (OFF) - 2 (E) ON Below 1 Ω
      OFF 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch.

    2. B001H82C02
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (VSC OFF switch)

      Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the VSC OFF switch, and check the illumination condition of the VSC OFF switch.

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 6 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 1 (ILL-)

      Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch.
