INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (w/o Pre-crash Safety System, w/EC Mirror)


    1. B001IMH

      Detach the 2 claws and slide the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

    2. B001GP3

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover.

  2. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/o Pre-crash Safety System)


    1. w/o EC Mirror:


      1. B001CLAC01
        B001CHY "TORX" screw
        B001DEF Remove in this Direction

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.

      2. Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.

    2. w/ EC Mirror:


      1. B001HMMC01
        B001CHY Connector
        B001DEF Remove in this Direction

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.

      3. Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)


    1. w/o EC Mirror:


      1. B001CV7C01
        B001CHY "TORX" screw
        B001DEF Remove in this Direction

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.

      2. Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.

    2. w/ EC Mirror:


      1. B001DUF

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the clamp.

      3. B001GPM

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.

      4. Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.
