DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.

The yaw rate and acceleration sensor has a built-in airbag sensor assembly and detects the vehicle condition.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1442 An invalid data signal is transmitted continuously from the acceleration sensor for 10 seconds or more. Acceleration sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)
C1443 An invalid data signal is transmitted continuously from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor for 10 seconds or more. Yaw rate sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)

Note

When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), perform calibration Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Start the engine and idle it for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.

    4. Check if the same DTC is output Click here.
